Location

Phuket Island is the Largest island in Thailand. Located in the Andaman Sea is roughly the size of Singapore and is connected to the mainland by the 600m Sarasin Bridge. The Island is located some 865Km South of Bangkok. It is a haven for sun worshippers.
The Island has been a Maritime Trading Base for Merchants from India and China for Centuries. In the 16th and 17th Century the Dutch, Portuguese, English and French were competing to control this Island due to vast Tin deposits. It serves as an ideal starting point for you mountain adventure in Thailand. Phuket Island is a piece of Thailand that is a Spectacular Paradise offering silky, white sandy beaches, swaying palm tress in the Tropical breeze and absolutely gorgeous scenery.
