Location

Bangkok is the Capital of Thailand and is Located in the center of Thailand at the apex of the Gulf of Thailand. Thais affectionately call it Krung Thep Mahanakhon (city of Angles). This sprawling metropolis is over 100 Sq. Km in size over the Delta of the Chao Praya River. Bangkok has a tropical climate. The hot seasons is from April to June. It is generally humid through out the year. Bangkok nightlife is boisterous and is Famous and well known all over the World. Places like Pat Pong or Pattaya are known as the happening places for nightlife in Bangkok. It is an excellent introduction of Thailand for first time visitors. Recent political turmoil has not dampened the spirit. As they say in Thai- Mai pen Rai (never mind). English is widely spoken although with a Thai Twang.

• Bangkok has an intricate system of canal (Klongs) and river transportation earning the nickname "The Venice of the East". It has a bit of everything.

• A must in your itinerary is to take a trip to the famous Morning Bangkok Floating market.

• River Cruise with a memorable dinner on a floating river Boat restaurant.

• Thai Massage!!! Hmmm!!!.

• Golden Grand Palace, Wat Arun,Royal Museum

• Bangkok is also a great place for excellent Seafood and local Thai dishes at a very reasonable price

• Thai Boxing- Muay Thai-Uniquely Thai Kick boxing

• Patpong - Mandatory must visit place to this Boisterous place at nights.

• Shopping - Great place to get branded and El Cheapo street vendors. Jewelry is also cheap due to the lower labor costs. Clothing especially Coats are really cheap and can be ready within 24 hours.

Visitors can get to Bangkok by Air, Train or by Road. Travel by road or Train from Malaysia or Singapore. Many International Airlines land directly on Suvarnabhumi International Airport daily.
