The place is very easily accessed from wherever you are in Singapore City via, Bus, Cab or Mass Rapid Transit (MRT).

The Zoo is over 28 Hectares in size and set in a Rain Forest Environment. The Open Concept offers Visitors an opportunity to experience and be inspired by the Wonder of Nature.

The Zoo is unique in the sense it is not just observing Animals but also Educational and interactive to convey the importance of preserving Nature, Wildlife. For example you get to interact with Orang Utan Apes. There are over 315 Animals and over 2,530 Specimens. More than 16% are Threatened Species. You can even plan to have your Wedding at the Zoo. You can choose to arrive with the Regal splendor on an Elephant like a Maharaja or a graceful ride on a Horse Drawn Carriage set in Victorian period.

Some Zoo Attractions:

• Rainforest Walk - It is part of the Fragile Forest, Enjoy the sight of flying foxes, Birds, Butterflies, Monkeys, Sun Bears, Malayan tapir lookout for the Tropical Crops plantation.

• Wild Africa - Look out for White Rhinos, lions, Cheetahs and Tribal villages. The highlight is the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia, the Hamadryas Baboons.

• Australian Outback - A Selection of Australian Wildlife such as Kangaroos.

• Animal Presentation - Elephants at work and play.

• Tree top Trails - an exciting way to explore the rain forest treetops. You get to experience the unique animals and birds that inhabitant here.
