Boracay Island Location This island is located about 315 Km South of Manila. It just 2Km off the Northern tip of Panay Island. This 10.3 Sq.Km Island has been voted as one of the Top Tropical beaches in the world.
History
The existence of this Island Jewel with its
untouched natural white sandy Beaches was a unknown till the 70's. Getting there Almost all international airlines fly into Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport. From Manila you can take a Bus to Caticlan Jetty then a ferry to reach Boracay Island.
What to do while your are in Boracay There are two Beaches, on the Western side it is White Beach and on the Eastern Bulabog Beach. White Beach is about 4 Km long and where most of the Resorts, Hotels are located. At this place you can find many Restaurants and lodging homes. All manner of Sea and Beach activities such as Para-sailing, Water Skiing, Wind Surfing are available here. Plenty of Night Action!. On Bulabog Beach there is less activity as large areas are Environmentally protected as Conservation areas. Best Time to Visit is Between months of September to May where Cool North East Wind Blows. A 18 hole Par 72 Golf Course is also located here. The annual weeklong Asian Windsurfing Tours takes place usually in January. It is also the venue for the International Dragon Boat races

For the more adventurous there are numerous diving, boating, Sailing and snorkeling spots. Visitor make Manila as a focal point and travel on to other places in the Philippines.
