  • City Hall was built in 1903.

  • Town Hall was built in 1880.

  • Architectural style- Palladian

  • Foundation was laid by Lt. Governor Sir Archibald Harbord Anson on Jan 1 ,1879.

The Hop On Free Central Area Transit (CAT) ply the route between Weld Quay Jetty and Komtar.

Schedule: 15-minute intervals from 6am till 12midnight. CAT STOPS  # 5 or #17

  • The iconic Buildings were listed a National monuments in 1982.

  • Both the City hall and Town hall buildings overlook the Sea.
