A large part of the city can be reached by foot.

These rickshaws are for show only. In early 19th. Century they were a popular mode of inner city transport. the tricycles ones are the ones you see in Penang nowadays.

The Hop On Free Central Area Transit (CAT) ply the route between Weld Quay Jetty and Komtar.
