Location
Langkawi Island
(locally Called Pulau Langkawi) is a small Island on the Andaman Sea
located just off the coast of North of Peninsular Malaysia, of the State
of Kedah and shares a Maritime boundary with Thailand. The archipelago
of Langkawi contains about 99 islands. Langkawi Island itself is the
largest among the archipelago, an area of 478.5 sq km.
